Our History

EmployerAdvocates spun-off from the original consulting firm, PremierSource, in 2015.  As a co-founder of PremierSource in 2003 alongside the shareholders of the law firm of McAfee & Taft, its CEO had developed a strong vision for a concierge-style service model.  The vision included high-touch delivery of solutions for employers that were challenged by the increasingly complex world of employee benefits and in need of sophisticated expertise and creative alternatives.  This vision, coupled with an emphasis on tailored strategies, active-management of health plans and deep-dive analytics have propelled the team’s rapid progress over the years.  Value-based leadership, innovation, and a commitment to delivering a strong ROI for employers were and continue to be the central building blocks for the team at EmployerAdvocates.  These values are strongly embraced by the senior executive team leaders who joined in the co-founding of EmployerAdvocates following the reorganization of PremierSource in 2015.
