EmployerAdvocates was founded by the former key executives of the consulting firm, PremierSource. As a co-founder of PremierSource in 2003, its former CEO had developed a vision for a highly specialized concierge business model with a strong focus on customized, employer solutions, actively-managed health plans, and deep-dive analytics that yield a significant ROI for employers.  The vision further evolved around strong core-value-based leadership, and innovative financial solutions with measurable results.

When PremierSource was acquired by an outside brokerage firm, it was just hitting its stride in fulfilling its leadership team’s vision. While the acquiring company was a reputable organization with high standards and strong local leadership, the key executive team at PremierSource was compelled by their passion and commitment to spin-off EmployerAdvocates and continue the path forward to fulfilling the vision that its clients had bought into and had been helping to develop over the years.
